Gifts to Philosophy Club contribute to...
Philosophy Club thanks you for investing in this opportunity for Cuyahoga Community College students to engage and exercise their skills in deep, critical thinking and civic engagement. Tri-C students are in a prime position to become leaders in northeast Ohio and beyond and Philosophy Club is one outlet to address big ideas, niche ideas, and everything in-between.
Though philosophy is humanities based, its essence is critical to all academic, institutional, and personal endeavors as the foundation allowing for reciprocal interaction and interdisciplinary relationships across the spectrum. Moreover, Philosophy Club is a place where the complexities of human nature are acknowledged and respected. As with the ancient Greeks, and even those before them, Philosophy Club continues the long-standing human tradition of thinking about ourselves and environment and what it means to exist.
Philosophy Club also engages in philanthropy with centers like Journey Center for Safety and Healing, and hosts speakers like Tri-C’s own Jason Moore, to speak about their research and other engaging topics.
